If you need reference-free encoder quality estimation
Reference-free estimation such as EPSNR is the hardest part of Boro to replicate. We don't have it.
If you need packet capture and replay
PCAP capture and replay let you build an offline analysis chain. We don't offer this.
If you want to discover a headend by network scan
IPTV network scanning and SAP discovery make inventorying a large headend fast. We use manual definition.
If SAML/SSO is mandatory for you
Integration with a corporate identity provider exists in Boro and not yet in UnifyCast — it is on our roadmap.

The three clearest differences
Coverage: the whole live surface, or part of it?
Boro is strong on transport and OTT. But an organisation's live surface is no longer only those: social live streams and the packaged VOD catalogue also need watching. UnifyCast brings them into the same panel.
Does rendition depth change the price?
Per Boro's own guide, in 'All Renditions' mode each rendition counts as a separate licence — three renditions in a master playlist means three licences. For us, rendition depth is a configuration choice, not a pricing lever. How deeply you measure should be decided by need, not budget.
What does a second vantage point cost?
Watching a stream from a second location is the only way to tell 'the stream really went down' from 'my path to it is broken'. With us that second point is free: the reachability-only watcher role consumes no licence.
